Georginna Feyst and Natalia Bortolotti Create New Travel-Inspired Comedy Web Series ‘AMERICANS ABROAD’

Premiering on YouTube and Stareable Beginning November 13, 2019

World travel is the backdrop for Georginna Feyst and Natalia Bortolotti who create and star in the new original scripted mockumentary web series AMERICANS ABROAD. Launching on YouTube and Stareable.com beginning November 13th, the 7-episode first season will roll-out fresh bi-weekly episodes each Wednesday with a special holiday installment on December 25th and completing on February 6, 2020.

AMERICANS ABROAD follows the exploits of an inept travel show Host (Feyst) and her unpaid Intern (Bortolotti), as they attempt to travel the globe without a budget. Fueled by the host’s endearing cluelessness on-camera and her intern’s sarcastic and subjective commentary off-camera, the traveling duo find themselves caught-up in misunderstandings about travel, culture, and life itself.

Feyst and Bortolotti conceived the idea while on a trip to Italy, and went on to co-write and produce the project under the Real Art Daily (RAD) Productions company banner. Feyst shares, “It all started when we noticed that the whole kitchen was in the closet, which made us laugh, so the ‘kitchen in the closet’ scene was the first scene we filmed and the series took off from there.”

Feyst created the Los Angeles-based Real Art Daily (RAD) Productions with the mission to create and tell meaningful stories that entertain, inform and awaken. RAD is a diverse company, determined to share alternative storylines that are often neglected by mainstream media which promote female empowerment, LGBTQIA+, and disabled representation.

RAD is currently in-development on several projects, including the dramatic feature film Georgie, a music video project working in conjunction with Bortolotti’s Nebula Artist Development, a live action and animated cross-over short film titled Yarnia, and the new existentialist theater production No Entry.

Before heading into the artistic arena, Feyst had a successful corporate IT career in Detroit, Michigan. She turned to the arts, studying music in Detroit at Wayne State University and San Jose State University before heading to Foothill Theatre Arts Conservatory on the San Francisco Bay peninsula. She also studied consciousness and spiritual thought and healing for over 10 years and was part of the grass roots new-age movement in Michigan in the 1990’s. Since then, she has emerged as a rising actress on stage, starring in the plays Roswell and No Exit; and starring in indie films Yarnia, Georgie and S is for Psycho, which earned her an award when it screened at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco.

Bortolotti is an award-winning singer, songwriter, music producer/mixer and score composer. She is the founder and creative director of Nebula Artist Development, a full-service artist development company and recording studio for music artists. Her talents have garnered awards from Billboard, ASCAP, Song of the Year, John Lennon Song Contest, Songwriters Hall of Fame, California Music Awards, Los Angeles Music Awards and Hollywood Music in Media Awards. She has toured with Maroon 5, Train, Sheryl Crow and Gwen Stefani among others and is currently a songwriter/producer signed with Warner. She recently ventured into writing scores for indie projects, including short films Midnight KissYe Olde ShenanigansOver-A-Cheevers, and Por Que? As an actor, she narrated the documentaries, Crude Impact and Women of Tibet series; and will appear on-screen in the upcoming short, Yarnia. Originally from San Mateo, California, Bartolotti is a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music.
